Data Scientist - Atlanta, Georgia (Remote) Contract position through end of March 2026 Pay Rate: up to $27.50 per hour Job Scope of the Data Scientist: Design, implementation, and establishing optimization libraries and frameworks that will integrate with our customers existing Eagle Simulate framework. Over the past 18-months, they have successfully developed a scalable, no-code/low-code simulation solution enabling complex modeling and analysis. The next critical step is to introduce optimization capabilities, including advanced algorithms, frameworks, and wrappers. This investment will accelerate development, leverage specialized expertise, and ensure a robust, scalable architecture that delivers measurable business impact through improved efficiency, cost savings, and data-driven decision-making. The scope and complexity of this work require specialized expertise in mathematical optimization, algorithm design, and software engineering. While our customers internal team has a strong domain knowledge and simulation capabilities, they need to: Accelerate Development: Expedite the design and implementation of core optimization components Bring Specialized Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge in optimization algorithms and frameworks Ensure Scalable Architecture: Build reusable, modular libraries that align with our existing simulation infrastructure Initiate and Structure the Framework: Set up the foundational architecture and best practices for long-term maintainability and extensibility Position (Education & Skills) Requirements of the Data Scientist: Master of Science degree with a specialization in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field Minimum three (3) years of experience Previous experience with Java and Github A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
