Role description
Data Scientist – Infrastructure Intelligence & Analytics Location: Greenwood Village, CO (Hybrid) Pay: $70-$77/hour on a long-term W2 contract with benefits About the Role Our client is hiring a Data Scientist to support the Infrastructure Intelligence & Analytics initiative — a high‑impact effort focused on network anomaly detection, graph‑based system intelligence, and emerging agentic AI patterns. This role combines traditional modeling with next‑generation graph reasoning and LLM‑assisted workflows. What You’ll Do • Build and evaluate machine learning models for anomaly detection and network intelligence. • Contribute to agentic/LLM‑based workflows, including classification, reasoning, and structural inference. • Work extensively with graph databases to structure, query, and maintain complex network and entity relationships. • Partner with Data Engineers to ensure high‑quality features, data transformations, and production readiness. • Perform data wrangling, ETL, and exploratory analysis to support modeling and experimentation. • Communicate findings to cross‑functional partners and guide technical decision‑making. What You’ll Bring • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or related field. • Strong modeling background (supervised, unsupervised, anomaly detection). • Experience or strong interest in graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Neptune, TigerGraph). • Familiarity with LLMs, applied NLP, or agentic workflows (experience not required — willingness to learn is). • Proficiency in Python and SQL; comfort learning new languages. • Strong communication and cross‑team collaboration skills. Why This Role is Unique • You’ll directly influence a mission‑critical system that monitors network health. • Graph work forms a significant portion of the long‑term roadmap — ideal for someone who enjoys solving “hard, not flashy” data challenges.
