Integration Data Specialist (ON-SITE, 3-Month Contract)
Optomi, in partnership with a major financial services organization, is seeking an Integration Data Specialist to support a critical, time-sensitive project within the Payments Services Division. This project will focus on auditing, organizing, and rationalizing a legacy dataset involving over 700 third-party integrations used across restaurant and retail payment processing systems. You will work cross-functionally with product management and implementation teams to compile, validate, and tag integrations, and help identify which systems and connections should be sunset or retained. Attention to detail, curiosity, and follow-through are key to success in this role. This is a high-visibility project and a top priority for the CEO, with direct ties to the modernization of point-of-sale (POS) infrastructure and strategic payment platform consolidation.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Review and identify 700+ legacy integration sources across payment systems.
β’ Analyze and investigate outdated or unknown systems by cross-referencing spreadsheets, folders, and contracts.
β’ Build and maintain organized tracking spreadsheets to centralize integration data.
β’ Identify unused or obsolete integrations and recommend shutdowns.
β’ Partner with contract, product, and implementation teams to verify data.
β’ Think creatively to connect fragmented information across multiple systems.
β’ Work onsite and collaborate directly with leadership and program managers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
β’ Detail-oriented with strong data entry, research, and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
β’ Comfortable sorting through messy data and legacy system records.
β’ Resourceful and self-starting β not afraid to ask questions or hunt down answers.
β’ Comfortable communicating with cross-functional teams (product, contracts, tech).
β’ Familiarity with payments, POS systems, or third-party integrations is a plus.
β’ Open educational background.
β’ Strong follow-through and ability to push through ambiguity without stalling.
β’ Prior experience in implementation, data analysis, or systems clean-up is highly preferred.
