Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled data specialist with strong experience in master and reference data management to support data governance/provenance work. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple stakeholders and will possess excellent communication skills to liaise across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Oversee master and reference data governance to ensure accountability, transparency, and stewardship of master and reference data across NESO.
β’ Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies and standards around master and reference data to ensure to data consistency across all business units.
β’ Oversee change management process to evaluate, approve, and implement changes to master and reference data, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives.
β’ Facilitate engagement sessions and clearly communicate master and reference data-related concepts and requirements to relevant stakeholders.
β’ Provide training and guidance to NESO staff regarding master and reference data.
Key Requirements
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in in master and reference data management or governance.
β’ Good understanding of data governance frameworks and practices.
β’ Proven ability to manage and engage stakeholders (both technical and non-technical).
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Desirable
β’ Relevant certifications (e.g. DAMA CDMP).
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
β’ Experience with data management tools and technologies.
