Role description
Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled data specialist with strong experience in master and reference data management to support data governance/provenance work. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple stakeholders and will possess excellent communication skills to liaise across business and technical teams. Key Responsibilities β€’ Oversee master and reference data governance to ensure accountability, transparency, and stewardship of master and reference data across NESO. β€’ Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies and standards around master and reference data to ensure to data consistency across all business units. β€’ Oversee change management process to evaluate, approve, and implement changes to master and reference data, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives. β€’ Facilitate engagement sessions and clearly communicate master and reference data-related concepts and requirements to relevant stakeholders. β€’ Provide training and guidance to NESO staff regarding master and reference data. Key Requirements β€’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in in master and reference data management or governance. β€’ Good understanding of data governance frameworks and practices. β€’ Proven ability to manage and engage stakeholders (both technical and non-technical). β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. Desirable β€’ Relevant certifications (e.g. DAMA CDMP). β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. β€’ Experience with data management tools and technologies. β€’ Experience of Data Lineage
