Role description
Data Strategy Analyst Location: London Type: Contract 12 months (extension possible) Location: 1 London Wall Place, London EC2Y 5AU Role Purpose Work closely with the Head of Data to assess the current Schroders Capital data architecture, identify pain points, and design a target state data architecture that supports scalability, integration, and alignment with the Group Data Strategy and Enterprise Data Platform. Key Responsibilities β€’ Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders across asset classes to identify requirements, gaps, and priorities. β€’ Analyze the existing data landscape, architecture, and integration patterns to understand fragmentation and inefficiencies. β€’ Develop and present target-state architecture options, including pragmatic short-term and strategic long-term solutions. β€’ Collaborate with Group Data and Technology teams to ensure alignment with the Group’s β€œCreate Once – Publish Everywhere” model. β€’ Produce clear documentation, diagrams, and proposals to support decision-making by senior management. Profile / Requirements β€’ 7+ years’ experience as a Data or Enterprise Analyst / Strategist in asset management or financial services. β€’ Strong analytical and conceptual skills, capable of synthesizing complex technical and business information. β€’ Understanding of data architecture and integration in multi-entity organizations. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills, from senior executives to technical teams. β€’ Familiarity with private markets data models desirable.
