Data Visualization Architect

Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Visualization specialist lead/architect (Senior role) who has experience designing, developing, and testing business analytics solutions using proven or emerging technologies in a variety of technologies and environments. Eight or more years of experience with data visualization/BI tools, such as Power BI and/or MicroStrategy or other semantic data access mechanisms.
Note that we are looking for someone who has a specialized skillset in embedding reports/dashboard in a web application using Rest API to provide customer-facing reports, dashboards, and analytics. This experience is a must of embedding a Power BI report in an application.
Role Requirements
1. Power BI Expertise:
β’ Advanced experience in report and dashboard development.
β’ Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.
1. Embedding & Integration:
β’ Experience embedding Power BI reports into web applications.
β’ Familiarity with Power BI Embedded, APIs, and authentication/authorization for external users.
1. Data Delivery & UX:
β’ Ability to design intuitive dashboards for external customers.
β’ Understanding of secure data delivery and multi-tenant environments.
1. Broader BI Knowledge:
β’ Exposure to other BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
β’ Knowledge of cloud platforms and Databricks is desirable.
1. Soft Skills:
β’ Strong communication skills to work with business and technical teams.
β’ Ability to think about scalability, security, and user experience.
β’ Take accountability and ownership.
β’ Good understanding of what business needs and translate that to the deliverables
