Overview: We are seeking a Data Visualization and Reporting Analyst for a full-time onsite contract role in Hialeah, FL with a leading company in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building dashboards, automating reporting workflows, and working with modern data platforms and cloud-based infrastructure. 🛠️ Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools. • Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Pentaho, etc.). • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes. • Work with multiple cloud databases (Postgres, Redshift, Oracle, RDS). • Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and optimize data access. • Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting needs. • Implement data validation, QA, and documentation best practices. • Support basic front-end reporting templates using HTML/CSS or templating engines (Jinja, Go templates, etc.). 🧰 Required Tools & Technologies: • Visualization & Reporting: Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Looker, or similar • Cloud Platforms: AWS (Redshift, S3, RDS, etc.) • Databases: PostgreSQL, Redshift, Oracle • ETL/Workflow Orchestration: Apache Airflow, Pentaho DI (Kettle), or similar • Scripting & Analysis: Python (Pandas, Polars, Numpy) • Other: Basic HTML/CSS, Jinja2 or Go templating (preferred but not required), Git ✅ Requirements: • 3+ years in data engineering, analytics, or reporting roles • Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards • Strong SQL and Python scripting abilities • Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Hialeah, FL • Authorized to work in the US
