Neos is seeking a Informatica Data Architect for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX. The Informatica data engineer/architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems required for data storage, processing, and analysis. They play a crucial role in building and managing the data pipelines that enable efficient and reliable data integration, transformation, and delivery for all data users across the enterprise. Responsibilities: • Designs and develops Informatica ETL jobs and schedules to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the enterprise data warehouse • Develops, implements and maintains ETL processes, including logic for data integrations, workflows and mappings, master data management (MDM), data lineage, data cleansing and data aggregation • Modifies and configures ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business requirements • Monitors ETL pipelines for performance and troubleshoot issues • Integrates data from different sources, including databases, data warehouses, APIs, and external systems • Ensures data consistency and integrity during the integration process, performing data validation and cleaning as needed • Designs, implements, and optimizes data warehouse architecture and data models • Transforms raw data into a usable format by applying data cleansing, aggregation, filtering, and enrichment techniques • Optimizes data pipelines and data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency • Translates high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards • Develops and maintains SQL scripts for data transformation and loading • Develops detailed and summary dashboards and reports for mastered data and for data quality • Refreshes, automates and streamlines the data pipeline and enterprise data warehouse processes • Trains staff on Informatica workflows and mappings, Informatica master data management, Informatica dashboards and reports, and support and maintenance Qualifications: • 8 years Required: Full life cycle development, architecture and implementation, of an enterprise data warehouse • 8 years Required: Complex Informatica ETL and ELT development and testing including for workflows and mappings • 8 years Required: Informatica ETL design and development including integration with MS SSIS control and data flow, data source, and package configurations • 8 years Required: Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies and concepts in data architecture, data integration, data extraction, data cleansing, data mapping, data transformation, data loading, data modeling, data validation rules, and data lineage • 8 years Required: Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) including mastering data domains from disparate systems into a consolidated and deduplicated master golden record • 8 years Required: Developing standard operating procedures, solution design documents, data maps, and technical diagrams • 8 years Required: Dimensional modeling and design, including following best practices for enterprise data warehouse development • 8 years Required: Data engineering for a scalable, flexible data pipeline including the development of an enterprise data warehouse • 8 years Required: Experience developing operational data stores including gathering, documenting, and implementing data model requirements • 8 years Required: Analysis, design, and development of Informatica dashboards and reports • 8 years Required: Training of staff on Informatica workflows and mappings, Informatica master data management, Informatica dashboards and reports, and support and maintenance
