Role description
Codeworks is an IT Services firm headquartered in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships. We are looking for a Data Warehouse Developer with extensive experience in business intelligence, dashboard development, and Tableau administration. This is a remote role open to qualified candidates across the United States. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of robust data visualizations and analytics solutions, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, ensuring accessibility and adherence to data visualization best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for analytics and reporting. Develop data workflows and pipelines using Alteryx or similar tools to support dashboard development. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation within relational database environments. Perform Tableau site administration tasks in DEV, UAT, and PROD environments, including security, performance tuning, and organization. Test and validate data sources and visualizations for production readiness. Provide mentorship and support to team members on Tableau best practices and dashboard usability. Support user interface testing and development in Semarchy (Master Data Management). Contribute to the development and implementation of BI governance, standards, and quality processes. Work with Agile teams using Scrum methodology for iterative development and delivery. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL (not generated by a tool) in relational database environments. 4+ years of Tableau development experience. 4+ years of experience with Alteryx or similar data prep tools. 6+ years of dashboard development, including working with complex datasets and analytics dashboards. 4+ years of experience with Tableau site administration. 4+ years of data warehouse experience. 4+ years of experience in BI governance, including metadata, data quality, privacy, and security. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent dashboard projects (typically 3–6 months each). 2+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum practices. Strong collaboration and communication skills, including experience working across organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven skill in building relationships with stakeholders and maintaining trust while aligning with business goals. Preferred Qualifications Experience with R and/or Python for data analysis. Familiarity with Semarchy (MDM) and GitHub.
