Location: Hybrid (Onsite T/W/Th as required) in Madison, WI Experience Level: Mid‑Senior (4+ years) Focus: Informatica IDMC, Data Warehousing, ETL Development, SQL Who We’re Looking For: We are seeking a highly skilled ETL/Data Integration Developer with strong hands-on experience in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to design, develop, test, and implement enterprise data integration solutions. This role is heavily focused on building scalable, secure, high‑performing data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and supporting a modern cloud-based data warehousing environment. The ideal candidate brings real-time experience with data warehousing processes, advanced SQL capabilities, and a solid understanding of relational database technologies. This role requires strong analytical skills, independent judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Informatica IDMC, including mappings, task flows, reusable transformations, and parameter files. Translate functional requirements into well-architected data integration solutions aligned with data warehouse best practices. Develop detailed ETL mapping specifications, ensuring data quality, integrity, and lineage. Perform performance tuning of ETL processes, SQL queries, and database interactions. Manage and maintain metadata, enforce data security standards, and ensure compliance with enterprise policies. Support migration efforts, including PowerCenter‑to‑IDMC transitions and workflow modernization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements gathering, design sessions, testing, and implementation. Participate in quality assurance activities, including test planning, test case development, and defect identification. Provide ongoing support, issue resolution, documentation, and enhancements to ETL workflows and data integration processes. Ensure deliverables align with SDLC phases, organizational standards, and project timelines. Qualifications: 4 years relevant experience in data warehousing and ETL development. 3 years hands‑on experience with Informatica IDMC (DI, Taskflows, mappings, reusable transformations). Moderate experience with data warehousing process design, performance optimization, and ETL tuning. Strong knowledge of relational database technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server). Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and analysis. Experience with: • Data modeling (relational & dimensional) • Slowly changing dimensions (SCDs) • Diagnosing and remediating ETL and database performance issues Strong verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation with technical and business stakeholders. Experience working within SDLC methodologies: planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, Outlook, and Jira.
