In this role, you will be responsible for supporting database environments for OT Energy Services, including Distribution, Transmission, Nuclear business areas, and other regulated application databases. Collaborating with application support teams on projects of various sizes and durations, you will serve as a diagnostician and solution provider for data-related analysis. Your expertise in specific data domains will be crucial in incorporating data governance into daily activities to enable data-driven decisions. Responsibilities: - Create and maintain databases for test, development, and production environments. - Analyze, test, and implement physical database design. - Document environment and keep current patches updated. - Ensure data recovery, maintenance, and integrity. - Conduct audits on current environments and provide capacity planning. - Collaborate with system administrators, technical managers, developers, and architects. Skills: - SQLServer Database Administration including Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, Business Continuity. - Oracle Database Administration including Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, Business Continuity. - Strong communication skills across organizational levels. - Relationship management and collaboration abilities. - Problem-solving skills with a focus on data governance and analytics. - Experience with distributed computing and data visualization. - Knowledge of statistical modeling and predictive modeling.
