Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. Responsibilities Manage and maintain our databases to ensure efficiency and reliability Develop, implement, and optimize database strategies Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues Collaborate with IT teams to ensure database security Create and maintain database documentation Perform regular backups to ensure data availability Requirements Proficiency in Database Administration Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and SSIS Experience with MySQL and high availability server environments Familiarity with Shell Scripting, Bash Unix shell, Linux operating systems Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 6 months Pay: £200.00-£210.00 per day Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: SQL: 3 years (required) MSSQL server: 4 years (required) AWS: 5 years (required) Azure: 5 years (required) Cosmos DB: 3 years (required)
