Position Description:
• Financial has recognized the importance of an Enterprise Privacy, Data and AI Governance program, and our client is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Database Analyst with a strong analysis and problem-solving background to join this Enterprise Privacy, Data and AI Governance team within the Enterprise Technology Experience organization.
• Data plays a key role in Financial, and as such, our Data sourcing and governance program plays a critical role in Financial's success.
• In this role, you must be proficient in data management, have a strong analytical capability, and be able to partner with stakeholders to understand their needs.
• The team embodies a culture of working collaboratively, cross-functionally, and using new technologies, all in support of a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Engage with various teams to understand data uses and associated quality requirements.
• Understand data sourcing and delivery designs and how those support data lineage and veracity.
• Review data model, metadata, for data sourcing and governance, applying quality management.
• Ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes.
• Database Analyst should be able to troubleshoot problem areas and identify data gaps and issues.
• Ability to adapt to fast changing environment.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Governance concepts and practices
• Experience in understanding data models.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
• Presentation skills in demonstrating, reporting, and data analysis.
• Familiar with agile project delivery process.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Catalogs such as Alation, Collibra, or similar
• Work with data partners to gain required governance insights and data quality requirements.
• Complete in-depth data analysis and contribution to strategic efforts.
• Provide subject matter expertise on the data needs for project deliveries, scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports to visualize analysis results using BI tools for the internal governance team's use.
• Contribute to the design, development, and completion of project deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with data governance, data quality, and associated issue root cause analysis and remediation processes.
• Support Enterprise Accountability Model operations through the partnership with various stakeholders across business functions.
• Facilitate value led growth of Data Stewardship Community with catalog and self-service tool trainings, communication and engagement, and analytical reporting.
• You will use your skills to provide subject matter expertise and complete in-depth data analysis, ensuring the complete and accurate registration and reporting of AI Products, Models, and Data Sources in our in our Enterprise Catalog inventory.
• Proficient in data management, including data analytics and reporting capability.
• Excellent verbal and written communications, high attention to detail
