Salary: $52.25 to $60.50 hourly Description We are looking for an experienced Database Developer to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will utilize your expertise to design and administer business intelligence tools, creating impactful dashboards and reports that transform data into actionable insights. Responsibilities • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to effectively communicate complex data insights. • Administer and optimize BI tools to ensure seamless performance and usability. • Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations that support decision-making processes. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions. • Integrate PowerApps to enhance functionality and streamline workflows. • Maintain and update existing BI tools to align with evolving business requirements. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboards, reports, and data sources. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within all developed reports and visualizations. • Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of BI tools. • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence to enhance development processes. Requirements • Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI, including designing and developing dashboards. • Proficiency in PowerApps for application integration and workflow enhancement. • Strong understanding of data modeling and visualization principles. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Familiarity with database management systems and data analysis tools. • Effective communication skills to present insights and technical concepts clearly. • Commitment to staying current with advancements in business intelligence technologies.
