Role description
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect to design, build, and optimize data solutions on the Databricks platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies, cloud architecture, and data engineering best practices.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines using Databricks.
Lead migration and modernization initiatives for data platforms.
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements.
Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.
Expertise in data modeling, ETL design, and data architecture.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Databricks certification(s).
Experience integrating Databricks with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Background in building real-time or streaming data solutions (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
