πŸ’Ό Job Title: Databricks Engineer πŸ’° Industry: Financial Services πŸ“ Location: New York City πŸ” Forsyth Barnes are partnering with a global business consulting company to expand its Capital Markets team and is hiring a Databricks Engineer to support a high-impact cloud data transformation initiative. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, cloud migration, and financial domain expertise. You’ll be part of a hybrid team building out a centralized data platform to power liquidity reporting and cashflow forecasting. 🧾 Responsibilities: β€’ Lead development and implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines on the Databricks platform β€’ Support a large-scale migration of cashflow reporting to a modern Delta Lake architecture β€’ Work with both real-time and batch data sources to aggregate, clean, and enrich datasets β€’ Provide technical leadership around cost optimization, platform strategy, and prioritization of use cases 🧾 What We’re Looking For: β€’ Hands-on experience in at least one significant Databricks implementation β€’ Deep knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, Delta Sharing, and the Medallion architecture β€’ Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark β€’ Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka β€’ Strong understanding of capital markets and financial products (e.g., loans, swaps, securities) 🧾 Why This Role?
