Title: Full Stack Engineer (Datadog and Mermaid) Location: Remote - client based in Cincinnati, OH Job Type: W2 Contract Job Summary The Business Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing business operations within a hybrid work model. With a focus on technical expertise in Kafka, .Net, ServiceNow Incident Management, OpenTelemetry, Elasticsearch, and Datadog, the candidate will ensure seamless integration and functionality of these technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive efficiency and innovation in day-to-day operations, contributing to the companys success and societal impact Responsibilities • Oversee the integration and functionality of Kafka, ensuring efficient data streaming and processing. • Manage .Net applications to enhance business operations and deliver robust software solutions. • Coordinate ServiceNow Incident Management processes to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption. • Implement OpenTelemetry for effective monitoring and observability of systems. • Utilize Elasticsearch to optimize search capabilities and data retrieval processes. • Leverage Datadog for comprehensive monitoring and performance analysis of applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. • Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and drive innovation. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all technical implementations. • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to foster a collaborative work environment. • Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. • Monitor project progress and adjust strategies to meet changing business needs. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency in operations. Qualifications • Possess extensive experience with Kafka and its application in business environments. • Demonstrate proficiency in .Net development and its integration into business processes. • Have a strong background in ServiceNow Incident Management and its operational impact. • Show expertise in OpenTelemetry for system monitoring and observability. • Be skilled in Elasticsearch for optimizing data search and retrieval. • Have experience with Datadog for application performance monitoring. • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business improvements. • Looking for an onshore engineer (no location constraint) who can assist with developing detailed technical documentation. • The ideal candidate would be able to document precisely where to find specific code for particular processes, rather than just providing a high-level overview. Additionally, the engineer would need to support and assist with observability and alerting. • They should be adept at exploring options for proactive alerting and be able to leverage tools such as DataDog and Mermaid. • The role involves putting together comprehensive technical documentation and working with tools like DataDog, Elasticsearch, and OpenTelemetry. • They will also need to develop SOPs as the ERP implementation is going live in the next two months and be familiar with ServiceNow, .NET, Kafka integration, and data movement
