Job Description As a Dataiku Engineer - Data & Analytics, you will leverage deep expertise in Dataiku (and Azure ML) to support business data scientists in defining, developing, tuning, and deploying ML models. You will serve as an Advanced Analytics Product Owner, identifying and prioritizing new ML use cases while providing guidance and mentorship to data scientists and development teams. Your role involves driving thought leadership on Advanced Analytics governance, including ethical and legal guidelines, while building, validating, and implementing predictive models in support of strategic initiatives or AI/ML proof-of-concepts. You'll lead weekly meetings with other Data Scientists and clearly present findings to stakeholders across the organization. This position requires extensive hands-on experience with Dataiku (over 5 years) and exceptional communication skills to effectively lead technical projects and collaborate across all levels of IT and business. You must have very clear communication skills and the ability to mentor and train team members. Duties And Responsibilities • Leverage deep expertise in Dataiku (and Azure ML) to support business data scientists in defining, developing, tuning, and deploying ML models. • Provide guidance and mentorship to data scientists and development teams on ML best practices from ideation to deployment. • Serve as an Advanced Analytics Product Owner: identify and prioritize new ML use cases, track progress and risks, and coordinate resolution efforts. • Drive thought leadership on Advanced Analytics governance, including ethical and legal guidelines. • Build, validate, and implement predictive models in support of strategic initiatives or AI/ML proof-of-concepts. • Clearly present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels. • Analyze current data-related processes and lead process improvement initiatives. • Lead weekly meetings with other Data Scientists to coordinate projects and share best practices. • Develop and deliver training or mentorship programs to team members. • Create business cases, proposals, and presentations for ML initiatives. • Collaborate across all levels of IT and business to ensure successful project delivery. • Establish and maintain ML model governance and deployment standards. • Monitor model performance and implement continuous improvement processes. Required Experience/Skills • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning. • Extensive hands-on experience with Dataiku (over 5 years) - must be detailed throughout resume. • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to lead weekly meetings with other Data Scientists. • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and collaborate across all levels of IT and business. • Strong project leadership and organizational skills with experience delivering high-impact technical solutions. • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Expertise in developing and delivering training or mentorship to team members. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. • Experience developing business cases, proposals, and presentations. • Very clear communication skills for stakeholder presentations and team leadership. Nice-to-Haves • Experience with Azure ML platform. • Background in Advanced Analytics governance and ethical AI practices. • Project management certification or experience. • Experience in strategic initiative support and proof-of-concept development. • Knowledge of data science best practices and model deployment strategies.
