Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled DataPower Developer with hands-on expertise in development and environment support activities. The ideal candidate should have a proactive mindset, eager to learn and adapt to new technologies including AWS services, Mainframe, and other emerging tech stacks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain integrations using IBM DataPower.
Perform environment support activities including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and performance of applications.
Participate in incident management and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
Explore and upskill in adjacent technologies such as AWS cloud services and Mainframe systems to support evolving project needs.
Provide documentation, technical support, and knowledge transfer within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataPower development (services, policies, security, transformations).
Experience in environment support (application deployment, monitoring, patching, troubleshooting).
Solid understanding of integration concepts, APIs, and middleware.
Ability to work in 24/7 support environments (if required) with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a learning mindset.
Good to Have
Exposure to AWS services (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
Familiarity with Mainframe systems and legacy integration.
Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, automation, and CI/CD tools.
Basic understanding of security protocols (SSL, OAuth, SAML).
