Role description
Title: Department Analyst/ Project Manager Location: Santa Rosa, CA Onsite only Contract Duration: 90 days + Extendable Any Visa is fine- Citizens preferred. Need local candidates. Position Title: Department Analyst/ Project Management Work Model: Onsite preferred (up to 100%) Duration: 90 days + Extendable Schedule: 40 hours per week We are open to project management candidates with experience implementing CRM, asset management, or similar operational software systems. AeroSimple-specific experience is not required. Regarding the work model, the role does require regular on-site presence at the airport. A key part of this position is having direct access and visibility into our existing processes that need to be streamlined and aligned with AeroSimple. That work requires being here. We are not in a position to accommodate a fully remote arrangement, but we are open to discussing a hybrid schedule with the right candidate if they are within a reasonable commute distance Role Overview Project management and process development. NOTE: We need someone with experience in taking spreadsheet - and paper-based, segmented processes and consolidating them into a single, unified workflow on a platform like AeroSimple. The County is seeking a Department Analyst with strong airport operations and business systems experience. This role supports the implementation of an airport business management system and focuses on understanding manual, Excel-driven operational workflows and translating them into structured digital processes. The analyst will work closely with airport staff and leadership to establish effective workflows, controls, and operational visibility across airport functions. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable starting from scratch, working directly with stakeholders, and supporting operational transformation. Key Responsibilities • Work directly with airport stakeholders to understand current operational workflows • Lead coordination meetings and working sessions • Document user experience, workflow dependencies, and end-to-end operational processes • Translate manual and Excel-based airport processes into structured system workflows • Consolidate and streamline operational data and reporting • Ensure appropriate approvals, controls, and compliance checks • Support workflow design across airport real estate, leases, accounting, and compliance • Assist with basic project coordination activities and operational planning Required Qualifications • Experience as a Project manager, Business Analyst, or Project Analyst • Strong ability to document and redesign manual operational workflows • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills • Experience supporting software or system implementations • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills • Ability to work independently in environments with undefined processes Preferred Qualifications • Experience in public sector or airport environments • Direct experience supporting airport or aviation operations • Understanding of tenant, lease, and revenue operations • CRM or operational data management experience • Light project coordination or project management experience • Experience working in compliance-driven operational settings
