Role description
Senior SAP Planning & Manufacturing Systems Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Golden, Colorado (100% Onsite)
Compensation: $75–80/hr
Travel Requirement: Approximately 25%
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card required due to ITAR regulations
We are seeking an experienced SAP professional to support manufacturing planning and supply chain operations through SAP PTM and PP/DS solutions. This position will partner with production, operations, supply chain, and technical teams to enhance planning functionality, optimize scheduling processes, and support enterprise SAP initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in SAP production planning systems, manufacturing process integration, and cross-functional business analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as a functional lead for SAP PP/DS and PTM-related manufacturing planning activities
• Configure and support SAP solutions for production scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing execution processes
• Gather operational requirements and convert business needs into scalable SAP functional designs
• Coordinate testing efforts including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Support master data validation, migration activities, and process governance initiatives
• Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to improve planning efficiency and system adoption
• Develop documentation, process flows, and end-user training materials
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Business Systems or SAP Analyst experience within manufacturing or supply chain environments
• Hands-on SAP experience supporting PP/DS, PTM, production planning, or advanced scheduling functions
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and capacity management
• Experience with SAP configuration, testing cycles, and master data management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface across technical and operational teams
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder for ITAR compliance
Preferred Experience
• SAP implementation or deployment experience in manufacturing environments
• Exposure to process improvement or ERP optimization initiatives
• Experience supporting enterprise-level manufacturing integrations
