Dev Lead

Job Title: Python / RFID Back End Developer Dallas, TX Global Tech Consultants Inc. Full-Time Industry: RFID Technology Global Tech Consultants Inc. is seeking an experienced Python / RFID Back End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical expert, driving the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance RFID systems aligned with our business goals. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary technical expert on RFID technology, including UHF, HF, NFC, and associated protocols. • Define and maintain the technical roadmap for RFID solutions. • Evaluate and recommend RFID hardware and software technologies. • Mentor and guide software engineers, promoting technical excellence and continuous learning. • Design end-to-end RFID systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. • Document architectural blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration patterns. • Analyze system performance data to identify and implement optimizations. • Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and firmware issues. • Lead the development of RFID middleware, APIs, and software modules. • Integrate RFID hardware with core software platforms and databases. • Oversee the development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, and deployment. Key Qualifications: • 7+ years in software development, with 2-18 years of RFID solution experience. • Expertise in UHF (RAIN RFID), HF, NFC technologies, and tag physics. • Experience with RFID readers, antennas, printers, and tags from major manufacturers. • Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java. • Experience integrating RFID with WMS, ERP, MES. • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and cloud-native RFID solutions. • Familiarity with IoT architectures and protocols. • Knowledge of AIDC technologies like barcodes, QR codes, and BLE. • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments. • Retail industry use case implementation experience.
