Role description
Job Description • 6 month contract • Mostly remote working - Occasional travel to Scotland • ??550 per day outside IR35 Developer Our public sector client is looking for experienced Developers to join them to provide hands-on technical leadership to an agile development team who are seeking to leverage document processing and ML to realise new automation opportunities for the organisation. Skills And Experience • OCR and lexical analysis techniques including NLP (Spacy) and ML • AWS including: CDK • Serverless (Lambda) • S3 • API Gateway • Cloud Formation • Aurora/Postgres • Python / Typescript • Making excellent quality software with other people. • Ability to engage with stakeholders, understanding context and requirements, from diverse areas of a business including Product Management, Service Design, and Operations. • Design and implementation of solutions using a service-based and serverless architecture. • Using written, verbal, and visual communication to explain complex topics concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes, including Grafana. • Experience working in the Agile delivery models - such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks. Formal XP engineering techniques. • Defining infrastructure-as-code. • AWS AI and OCR services such as Textract, ML / MLOps • OpenShift / Kubernetes / Docker • PyTorch Key Responsibilites • Develop a productionised automation service based on the findings from prior Research and Development.
