Role Description
This is a contract role for a DevOps Engineer, based in Bracknell, with flexibility for some remote work. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC), streamlining continuous integration processes, managing Linux systems, and collaborating with development teams to enhance software projects. The role also involves automating deployment pipelines, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring operational excellence in a hybrid working environment.
Qualifications
β’ Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools
β’ Experience in Software Development and proficiency in relevant programming languages
β’ Knowledge of Continuous Integration methodologies and tools
β’ Strong System Administration skills with focus on Linux environments
β’ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
β’ Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setup, with strong communication skills
β’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
Technical background skills:
β’ Proficiency in managing containerized applications in Docker and Kubernetes
β’ Containerization tools
β’ Knowledge and experience in Azure, AWS DevOps
β’ Helm, GitHub Actions Deployments
β’ Office365, Dynamics 365, Entra, Purview Administration
