Role description
Contract DevOps Engineer (AWS GCP).

Location: South Yorkshire OR Hybrid OR Fully Remote (UK-based only).
Contract: 6 months (ASAP start).

Skills What you’ll bring:
• Proven DevOps Engineering experience with a background of software engineering.
• strong understanding of cloud-agnostic service patterns
• Excellent CI/CD experience
• Hands-on expertise with the AWS Serverless Stack (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Experience with AWS Security Services (IAM, Security Hub, Inspector, Secrets Manager, KMS, etc.)
• Broader AWS knowledge: S3, VPC, EC2, Cognito
• AWS CDK or Pulumi
• TypeScript skills
• Monitoring experience with Datadog
• Cost monitoring expertise
• Solid grounding in TDD
• Experience handling merge queues and ephemeral environments
• Software engineering background
• AWS Solution Architect accreditation
• Degree in Computer Science or similar
Desirable extras:
• GCP
