Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 7 to 10 years of experience to design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), with exceptional troubleshooting skills to ensure system reliability and performance. This role requires a proactive leader who can optimize development and deployment processes while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
β’ Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure, leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized applications.
β’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to streamline software delivery.
β’ Implement and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker to ensure efficient application deployment and orchestration.
β’ Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, applications, and networks.
β’ Collaborate with development and IT teams to define infrastructure requirements and implement best practices for scalability, security, and reliability.
β’ Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
β’ Ensure security and compliance by implementing best practices for identity management, network security, and data protection in Azure environments.
β’ Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
β’ Stay current with emerging DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve workflows.
Qualifications
β’ 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and containerization.
β’ Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Resource Manager, and Azure networking.
β’ Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.
β’ Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems, networks, and applications.
β’ Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, with experience in automating build and deployment pipelines.
β’ Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
β’ Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
β’ Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes clearly.
β’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
β’ Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Docker Certified Associate.
β’ Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.

This is a contract position with the option to full-time hire after 6 months.
