Role: DevOps Engineer
Rate: £400 - £450 (Inside IR35)

Must have Helm & Docker Experience
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and manage infrastructure in AWS using IaC (Terraform preferred)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Manage containerised services using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Collaborate with developers, security, and platform teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability
• Ensure cloud architecture aligns with best practices in scalability, availability, and cost optimisation
• Drive automation and eliminate manual toil through scripting and tooling
• Maintain robust security, including IAM, VPC configurations, and secrets management
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline design
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• CI / CD (ideally GitLab)
• Helm
• Docker
• Containers (Kubernetes) - but not managing Kubernetes, using it as an app development
• Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control best practices
