ANSHULTECH is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of verifiable experience in a DevOps role within the United States.
Location: Hybrid β 3 days per week onsite in Northern Virginia.
Note: This role requires a local presence. Please apply only if you currently reside in the Washington, DC metro area or are able to commute regularly.
Duration: 12+ months
VISA Status: US Citizen, Green Card, GC EAD, H4 EAD, H1B Transfers

Mode of Interview: Video screen then final round onsite
Rate: $60/hr. (negotiable for extra good resources)

You will administer and support enterprise level tools including SonarQube, LoadRunner, SauceLabs on AWS-Cloud environment. Other experience with Atlassian tools like Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence would be a plus. Enterprise level support to work at the infrastructure level of the tools hosting environments to develop, enable, and maintain best practices through configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.

DevOps Engineer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
β’ Must have experience with Terraform, GitLab, AWS native pipelines and automation
β’ Strong development skills using python and shell.
β’ Experience in AWS provisioning using CloudFormation
β’ Use AWS development knowledge and experience in automation.
β’ Use knowledge of integration scripting: RESTful APIs and SOAP.
β’ Must have good problem solving and Communication skills.
β’ Strive for process improvements and opportunities for automation and implement the solution.
β’ Plan and execute defined technical project tasks.
β’ Manage timely resolution of all critical and/or complex issues.
β’ Gather and process inputs from DevOps, engineering, and IT subject matter experts across the release lifecycle.
β’ Evaluate and support opportunities for alignment between IT operations and the business.
β’ Administration of planning tools including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, road mapping and distributed collaboration tools.
β’ Focus on maximizing stability, reliability, and performance.
Desired Experiences
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent
β’ 4-5 years of experience in administration of planning tools (Atlassian tools preferred)
β’ AWS Certification
β’ Experience with Confluence
β’ Agile Best Practices
β’ Working knowledge of GitLab
β’ Knowledge of Cloud (AWS) and on-prem hosting
β’ Understanding of Rest APIs and how to build custom APIs while ensuring the system is not compromised
β’ Migrating on-premises applications to AWS.
β’ Experience with infrastructure framework and management
β’ Knowledge of TDD, BDD, Test Automation Tools (SauceLabs, UFT, Jmeter, Gatling, LoadRunner) and Frameworks (Selenium-Cucumber)
