Role description
DevOps Engineer 6+ months £650 per day (Outside IR35) 2/3 days per month on site in London Cloud Bridge are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join us working on project for a long standing customer in the financial service sector who are building out new parts to their AWS platform. Key responsibilities • Designing, implementing, and managing scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. • Automating deployments and infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. • Monitoring and improving system performance, reliability, and security. • Collaborating with developers, architects, and operations teams to streamline delivery. Key Skills • Strong commercial experience with AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, VPC, IAM). • Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). • Skilled in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar). • Containerisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes). • Good knowledge of monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). • Solid understanding of security best practice in cloud environments. Desirable skills • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments. • Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). • Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
