Job Overview
You are a proactive DevOps Engineer with a passion for IT and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset. As a key member of a cross-functional squad, you design, develop, test, and deliver applications, while also supporting maintenance and decommissioning when needed. You work end-to-end in Agile, continuously improving both your skills and your team's. With a full stack understanding, you manage everything from design to deployment and incident resolution, always aligning with business goals to deliver the best solutions.
The team
You will be part of the Global Account Management System area within Wholesale Banking Tech, Network and Core Banking. You will collaborate with multiple teams spread across domains in Philippines, India, Belgium, The Netherlands, and more. We follow a Scrum Agile development process and strongly believe in the DevOps approach to deliver better software faster. We work with the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks, which means that you work in a dynamic environment in which you are continuously learning. If you have bright ideas, they will be valued and supported by both your peers and your management.
Key Responsibilities
• Automate testing, deployment, and rollback processes
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security checks
• Work within Linux environments (preferably RHEL 8+) for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Conduct static and dynamic code analysis and manage vulnerability scans
• Embed security tools and practices into development workflows
• Contribute to containerization efforts using Docker.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Manage Observability KPI’s and SLI’s
• Manage IT risk, vulnerabilities and technical compliance
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis
• Ensure systems meet regulatory and organizational compliance
Key Capabilities/Experience
• High Knowledge in Full SDLC
• DevOps operation on Java Application
• GIT
• Azure DevOps and similar platforms
• Solid understanding of Linux (RHEL 8 or higher).
• Ansible, Terraform
• Automate provisioning and configuration on cloud and on prem infrastructure
• SQL and PL/SQL, particularly with Oracle databases.
• Proficient in any Scripting Language (BASH, Python, GOLANG)
• Any Messaging Platform (MQ, Kafka)
• Proficient in any Observability tools (Prometheus, Open Telemetry, Grafana etc.)
• Understand and apply security integration (Sonarqube, OWASP)
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
• Willingness to learn new tools and platforms, including Finacle and INGenious.
• Openness to continuous learning and adapting to evolving technologies.

• Knowledgeable about core banking services and related financial services.
