DevOps Engineer Longterm Contract Indianapolis, IN DevOps Management • Engage in business level discussions to understand the system requirements and translate to technical requirements for capability and configuration of tools and services in the CICD pipeline. • Design, build and troubleshoot automation frameworks for the deployment and management of existing / new CI/CD Pipelines • Keep current with industry best practices, trends, and standards and identifies automation opportunities, designs, and develops automation solutions that improve DevOps operations and efficiency • Assist with the Implementation of various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure • Advise BMV on Technologies, Tools and Processes • Set up tools and assist with infrastructure design and build • Define and setup development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation for the New Projects and/or support the existing environments • Monitor processes during the entire lifecycle for adherence to defined processes, update and create new processes for improvement • Regularly check and monitor alarms, diagnose symptoms, analyze root causes, and employ preventative measures to avoid reoccurrence of issues and address Dev-ops tickets in a timely matter • Support IOT in troubleshooting Network, Desktop and/or Infrastructure issues related to BMV ADO Batch Processing • Create and maintain the Batch Schedule for the New or existing batch jobs and integrations • Lead and manage STARS batch coordination across all interface partners. Communicate and confirm with partners on batch files (incoming and outgoing). Coordinate and resolve batch files related issues (delays and corruption). Coordinate with partners to enable/disable ports • Lead and manage batch cycle execution. Resolve batch failures, triage and log tickets. Coordinate with functional teams to resolve issues. • Monitor batch execution cycle • Monitor batch execution. Forecast and verify batch schedule. Execute special request for inclusion/exclusion of jobs in batch cycle. • Communicate, coordinate and adjust batch cycle for any planned/unplanned outages.
