Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in DevOps Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and implement solutions using industry standards and patterns to promote consistency, efficiency and risk reductions across AutoNation's data enterprise
β’ Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines using Git, Azure DevOps, and related tools
β’ Automate infrastructure provisioning and management across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments using Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting tools
β’ Deploy, scale, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker
β’ Write and maintain scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and optionally Python for automation and tooling
β’ Implement robust monitoring and alerting using enterprise tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
β’ Maintain high system availability, performance, and security across hybrid environments
β’ Participate in on-call rotation and support production deployments and incident resolution
β’ Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior and mid-level DevOps engineers, fostering growth in automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD practices
β’ Continuously improve DevOps processes and advocate for infrastructure best practices
β’ Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to build self-service DevOps capabilities
Requirements
β’ 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering
β’ Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, plus exposure to on-prem infrastructure
β’ Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar
β’ Experience using Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation. Having AWS CDK is a plus
β’ Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash and PowerShell
β’ Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container lifecycle management
β’ Expertise with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in both cloud and on-prem contexts
β’ Expertise in troubleshooting full stack implementations from client to backend systems using client-side tools, APMs, network monitoring tools and log parsers
Preferred Skills
β’ Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent job experience preferred
β’ Microsoft MCSE and/or AWS certification preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
