Job Title: Cloud DevOps Platform Engineer (W2 Role) Location: Alpharetta, GA Employment Type: W2 Contract About the Role: β€’ We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Platform Engineer to join our global engineering team. In this role, you will focus on automation, configuration as code, and the foundational architecture of Public Cloud Kubernetes environments. You’ll collaborate with Product Management and vendors to design, develop, and deploy cloud services that meet evolving business needs while maintaining scalability, resilience, and security. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, deploy, and manage Public Cloud Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple cloud providers. β€’ Implement automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.) for repeatable deployments. β€’ Develop scalable solutions using Python or Golang and scripting with Shell. β€’ Drive CI/CD best practices with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitOps, and test-driven development. β€’ Partner with global teams to enable cloud services that align with customer expectations. β€’ Work in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver high-quality, secure cloud platforms. Required Skills & Experience: β€’ 4–8 years of engineering experience with at least 4+ years in AWS, Azure, or GCP. β€’ Strong expertise in Kubernetes and containerized technologies. β€’ Solid experience with Terraform and other IaC tools. β€’ Strong development skills in Python or Golang. β€’ Familiarity with Linux-based systems and debugging tools. β€’ Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. β€’ Knowledge of RESTful APIs for compute and storage infrastructure management. Desired Skills: β€’ Familiarity with Kubernetes ecosystem tools (Helm, Kustomize, OPA, FluxCD). β€’ Proficiency in writing unit tests, including mocking external APIs. β€’ Experience with enterprise-scale, distributed environments.
