AI/DevOps Engineer $60-$77/hour DOE Remote - local to CO preferred 6-month W2 contract-to-hire with benefits Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer with a strong focus on infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management using Terraform, coupled with good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs). This role involves working collaboratively with cross functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable AI systems that drive innovation and enhance our products. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Development: Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure using Terraform to support AI model deployment and operations. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure Deployment and Automation: Deploy AI models into production environments using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of deployed AI models and infrastructure, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency. Conduct regular evaluations of model performance and infrastructure utilization, implementing improvements as needed Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to align on project goals and deliverables. Facilitate effective communication between technical and nontechnical stakeholders Documentation and Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure setups, model development processes, and deployment workflows. Establish and promote best practices for AI infrastructure management and model development within the team Research and Innovation: Stay current with advancements in AI, cloud technologies, and best practices in infrastructure management. Experiment with new tools and methodologies to enhance the capabilities of our AI infrastructure Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
