Role description
Soni's client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support environments focused on IT automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure monitoring, and secure operationsβ€”commonly used within MSP (Managed Services Provider) or hybrid IT contexts. This role involves integrating automation and security tools to ensure efficient and resilient service delivery. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi to provision resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP. β€’ Automate software deployment, patching, and configuration using Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash, including integration with proprietary automation agents. β€’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, with support for repositories such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab. β€’ Monitor and manage infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and native agent-based monitoring systems. β€’ Maintain secure management of credentials and secrets with tools like HashiCorp Vault or CyberArk. β€’ Deploy and manage containers using Docker and Kubernetes, especially in environments supporting SaaS or microservices. β€’ Integrate DevOps workflows with ticketing systems and deployment tracking tools. β€’ Support endpoint security and event alerting using tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Nessus, and OpenVAS. β€’ Implement and manage backup and recovery workflows using tools such as Unitrends, Spanning, Acronis, Veeam, or Zerto. β€’ Build dashboards and alerts for system health, security anomalies, and performance trends. Qualifications: β€’ Experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles β€’ Proficient with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash). β€’ Experience with CI/CD tooling like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. β€’ Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack. β€’ Familiarity with proprietary agent-based monitoring and automation platforms. β€’ Strong working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP. β€’ Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and artifact repositories like Nexus or Artifactory. β€’ Strong understanding of secure credentials management using Vault or CyberArk. β€’ Background in supporting security and compliance in MSP or hybrid cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Experience in MSP or service provider environments. β€’ Familiarity with scripting deployments β€’ Experience integrating monitoring and ticketing platforms with deployment pipelines. β€’ Knowledge of DR and backup orchestration tools
