DevOps Engineer

We welcome individual candidates and Corp-to-Corp (CTC) resume submissions. 9-month contract Hybrid role onsite 3 days per week We are seeking a Lead DevOps with exceptional technical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to support and enhance our enablement platforms — the tools and systems that empower our engineering and business teams to work effectively. Responsibilities: • Primary focus will be to serve as client’s Atlassian expert, optimizing Jira, Confluence, Service Desk, and related integrations to deliver high-value solutions. • Part of the enablement platform support team within Productivity Engineering and Developer Enablement, delivering solutions that meet business needs and defined success metrics. • Leads complex tasks and operational requests related to delivery of a product • Architect, implement, and optimize platform configurations — with an initial focus on Atlassian tools • Partner with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to identify opportunities for automation, integration, and workflow improvements • Leads automation of infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipeline automation • Research, recommend, and apply best practices for platform administration and scalability • Leads the production deployment process • Leads collaboration with the application development organization to deliver identified infrastructure enablers • Addresses the most complex operational incident resolution • Support and help evolve additional enablement platforms across the enterprise • Communicate effectively across distributed teams using video, phone, email, and chat • Must live within 50 miles of corporate offices in Evansville, IN; Baltimore, MD; Wilmington, DE; Charlotte, NC; or Irving, TX with ability to work onsite 3 days per week Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role • Deep expertise with Atlassian products (Jira, Service Desk, Analytics, Confluence) and related integrations • Understanding of CI/CD and architecture principles • Experience with platform deployment, migration, and performance tuning • Ability to configure advanced settings such as SSO, user directories, and permission schemas • Familiarity with additional productivity, collaboration, or developer tooling platforms • Adaptability to learn and support new technologies as the enablement ecosystem evolves • Experience in technical engineering • Development is a plus, but scripting in PowerShell or similar is sufficient We look forward to receiving your resume in PDF format.
