Overview
Weβre seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS and Kubernetes to join a high-impact client engagement. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in modern cloud-native, security-driven environments and enjoys hands-on problem-solving, automation, and scalability challenges.
This position requires 3 days onsite in Chicago each week β travel expenses are covered.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Manage and optimize complex Kubernetes environments, including Helm chart troubleshooting and deployment automation.
β’ Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines β ideally leveraging Harness or similar tools.
β’ Champion DevSecOps best practices, integrating security seamlessly into development and deployment workflows.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.
β’ Engage in long-term client initiatives, with opportunities for extension beyond the initial term.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Proven expertise with Kubernetes and Helm chart troubleshooting.
β’ Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (Harness experience preferred).
β’ Solid background in DevSecOps, emphasizing cloud security integration.
β’ Deep proficiency in AWS cloud environments (β No Azure or on-premises experience required).
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with Argo CD or similar deployment tools.
β’ Prior consulting or client-facing project experience.
β’ Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and collaborate across vendors and teams.

β’ Traditional platform engineering (e.g., landing zones, EC2/compute, IAM, networking, FinOps).
