Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Remote, MX Target Start Date: 7/14 Type: (C, CTH, D) : C Pay Rate / Salary (Ranges OK): $450/day We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and automation across cloud-native environments. This role is pivotal in driving best-in-class practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and Azure platform services, while collaborating across engineering, QA, and product teams. Key Responsibilities • Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure Azure environments across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings. • Lead and maintain robust Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automate delivery of infrastructure and applications. • Develop and manage IaC solutions using Terraform and Azure-native tools (ARM, Bicep). • Serve as the Azure SME for infrastructure setup, release strategies, and platform improvements. • Maintain and enhance Azure DevOps components, including Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards. • Document and standardize infrastructure configurations, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures. • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize cloud performance. • Drive adoption of best practices in Azure governance, cost management, and security (RBAC, Azure AD, Key Vault, etc.). • Implement Azure-native monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics) for proactive alerting and diagnostics. • Mentor teams on cloud architecture, containerization (AKS, Docker), and modern DevOps principles. • Continuously research and implement innovative ways to improve automation, scalability, and reliability. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including PaaS services like App Services, SQL, Functions, and Container Apps. • Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps Services and CI/CD pipeline automation. • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and Azure-native templates (ARM/Bicep). • Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). • Proven ability to lead and deliver cloud infrastructure projects end-to-end. • Strong understanding of Azure identity and access management (IAM, RBAC, Azure AD). • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices across the full software development lifecycle. • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools within Azure ecosystem. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with additional DevOps tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, or Puppet. • Exposure to multi-cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Expert).
