Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevOps and Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud infrastructure management while leveraging their expertise to optimize our telecom services. You will work on streamlining and automating our deployment and operational processes, focusing on AWS services, API automation, and integration with cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab Runners for seamless integration and continuous delivery of software solutions.
β’ Work extensively with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3) to automate cloud resource provisioning and management.
β’ Automate API testing, integration, and deployment, ensuring smooth API workflows within CI/CD processes.
β’ Write and maintain Bash scripts to automate routine operations and deployment tasks.
β’ Develop automated solutions to manage database tasks, including running queries, processing results, and formatting logs for automation.
β’ Integrate database logs and performance metrics into monitoring platforms like Datadog and Splunk.
β’ Leverage Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for scalable cloud environments.
β’ Utilize AWS Lambda to implement serverless functions for event-driven workflows and process automation.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and integrate orchestration and workflow automation tools, improving system efficiency across both cloud and on-premises environments.
β’ Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the 5G, RAN, and Core networks, providing support and knowledge where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Expertise with API automation (designing, testing, and integrating APIs into workflows).
β’ Experience in managing cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, including Lambda, EC2, S3, and RDS.
β’ Strong scripting skills with Bash, Python, and JavaScript.
β’ Hands-on experience with Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure through code.
β’ Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk for integrating logs and metrics.
β’ 5G/RAN/Core network experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Required Skills:
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise in the DevOps and Automation domains.
β’ Experience in automating and optimizing processes, particularly in telecom and cloud-native environments.
β’ Solid understanding of infrastructure automation, IaC, and workflow orchestration.
β’ Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
