Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: [Hybrid/ St. Petersburg, FL] Duration: Long term Contract Job Overview: SGS Technologies seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the IT Advisor Platform Development team, supporting the deployment and management of AI-driven applications and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. This role is instrumental in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions to empower our AI and ML initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code). • Support deployment and operations of AI/ML applications using services like Azure APIM, OpenAI, and GenAI tools. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications built in Python and Java. • Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and cloud architects to ensure seamless integration and deployment. • Implement and enforce cloud security and compliance best practices. • Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across DevOps environments. Required Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in cloud DevOps engineering (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP a plus). • Hands-on experience with Terraform for cloud provisioning. • Proficiency in CI/CD tools, Git, and infrastructure automation. • Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts. • Experience developing pipelines for Python and Java-based applications. Preferred (Nice to Have): • Experience with Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep templates. • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and MLOps practices. • Experience working in regulated enterprise environments. • Strong scripting skills in Python or other automation tools. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
