Role description
Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting platform engineering and cloud infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Redmond, WA - Fully Remote - Preference for candidates that can work standard PST business hours Pay Range: $46.13 - $50.78 on Experis W2 (Benefits and PTO) What's the Job? โ€ข Design and build platform capabilities that standardize deployment, networking, identity, and runtime fundamentals across services (AKS, ingress, service mesh, traffic management). โ€ข Automate infrastructure as code (Terraform) and harden CI/CD (Azure DevOps/YAML) to reduce toil and improve change quality. โ€ข Manage reliability at scale by creating actionable alerting, dashboards, and troubleshooting guides. โ€ข Coordinate migrations, implement guardrails via shared modules, guides, and partner enablement. โ€ข Collaborate broadly with platform, security, and service teams to drive design reviews and documentation. What's Needed? โ€ข Minimum 2 years experience with Kubernetes. โ€ข Minimum 2 years experience with Terraform. โ€ข Minimum 2 years experience with scripting languages. โ€ข Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines. โ€ข Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
