Position: Tech Ops/DevOps Engineer Location: Salt Lake City, UT | ( US - REMOTE possible) Compensation: $40-60/hr Term: Contract / minimum 3 months US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS ONLY This role: This role is a highly motivated individual with a focus Azure CICD, scripting, and automation responsible for building CICD pipelines for Serverless and Containerized applications, improve development cycles, and ensure scalability and reliability. Experience with Azure/AWS Services, Python, along with good communication and documentation skills is ideal. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with other highly-performing engineers on development tasks, while working from your own home office • Creation and management of CI/CD pipelines • Automating processes required to deploy, manage, configure, scale, and monitor internal, product • and cloud-based applications following best practices. • Coordination with Development/Quality Assurance teams to constantly improve and increase • deployment velocity. • Strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently. • Monitor all applications, services, and the infrastructure effectively, efficiently, within budget and • project timelines. • Continuously improve the infrastructure using automation and tools that are scalable and reliable. Skills | Experience | Education needed: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. • Understanding of Agile Software Development Life cycles. • 3-5 Years of experience implementing DevOps practices with strong hands-on experience building • and managing CI/CD pipelines. • 3-5 years working with cloud platforms such as Azure. • 3-5 years scaling, monitoring, and ensuring reliability of the infrastructure. • 3-5 Years of experience with high level programming language e.g., Python, Powershell, or Bash(Python Preferred) • Experience with Azure services and tools such as Lambda and Code Pipeline. • Understanding Configuration Management tools. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code. • Experience building and deploying containerized applications. • Experience with source control tools (Git).
