Neos is Seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a contract role with our client in Austin, TX.

Work to Be Accomplished
β’ Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
β’ Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
β’ Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using native and third-party tools.
β’ Ensure best practices in security, compliance, and cost optimization across both cloud environments.
β’ Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
β’ Set up and manage virtual networks, VPNs, security groups, IAM roles/policies, load balancers, and storage accounts.
β’ Troubleshoot cloud service issues and performance bottlenecks.
β’ Participate in cloud migration initiatives, hybrid-cloud setups, and disaster recovery planning.
β’ Maintain cloud documentation, operational runbooks, and diagrams.
Minimum Years Of Experience, Skills, And Qualifications
β’ 3+ years of hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
β’ Strong understanding of cloud networking, security controls, and identity/access management in both environments.
β’ Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
β’ Proficient in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and automation.
β’ Familiar with monitoring/logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Zenoss, and Splunk.
β’ Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS).
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
β’ Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect Associate, or equivalent.
β’ Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises integration.
β’ Knowledge of cloud cost management tools (e.g., Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer).
β’ Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, SOC 2).
