Role description
Overview
FWI is building a team to provide strategic communications support to the National Science Foundation's Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA) to advance NSF's mission through clear, targeted, and effective messaging. As a Digital Analytics Specialist, you will collect and analyze data from digital platforms and media monitoring tools to develop dashboards, reports, and actionable insights that inform communications strategy and improve stakeholder engagement.

β’ Work Schedule and Location:
Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with 90% onsite at NSF headquarters in Alexandria, VA
Responsibilities
β’ Collect and analyze data from digital platforms, media monitoring tools, and stakeholder engagement activities
β’ Develop dashboards and reports for leadership
β’ Translate complex data into actionable insights
β’ Collaborate with communications staff to ensure metrics inform strategy
β’ Support evaluation and continuous improvement of communications campaigns
β’ Incorporate audience feedback and performance metrics into assessments
Required
Qualifications
β’ Experience in data analysis or metrics reporting
β’ Experience developing dashboards and reports
β’ Experience with digital platforms, media monitoring tools, or data visualization software (e.g., Google Analytics, Meltwater, Cision, Sprout Social, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
