Role description
ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing and Analytics professional to join our Digital Operations team within the Education Division on a six-month fixed term contract. The role will be responsible for shaping and implementing the digital marketing roadmap for the UK and International Education businesses aligned with the marketing strategy, and increasing marketing-driven revenue through increased reach, engagement and conversion across key digital marketing channels. Key responsibilities in this role will include: Oversee the delivery of campaigns across all digital paid channels for the UK and International marketing teams with support of the Performance Marketing Manager Lead the UK and International reporting strategy and marketing data roadmap Deliver marketing performance actionable insights and optimise data analytics tools to ensure accurate, up-to date and compliant marketing data practices Lead the UK and International search strategy for organic and paid search to increase reach and conversion Collaborate with key stakeholders to maximise results for digital marketing activity, and ensure that marketing targets are met, with positive ROI Train and upskill the wider marketing teams in digital marketing and analytics best practices Lead on campaign planning processes to define priorities and continuously improve ways of working Line management of the Performance Marketing Manager (based in India) This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone with strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem‑solving skills, supported by excellent data literacy and a proactive approach. You will work well in a team, communicate insights clearly, and demonstrate high attention to detail. You would effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and brings excellent stakeholder management skills when working with both internal and external partners. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience working as a Digital Marketing Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, Marketing Analytics Manager or similar role either in-house or at an agency Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager and their use for performance measurement Experience of researching and developing digital marketing strategies to meet business objectives Experience of successfully implementing pay-per-click digital advertising campaigns, particularly across Google, Meta and LinkedIn Experience of working with insight tools such as Power BI and Google Data Studio Experience of managing a small team (desirable) BENEFITS We care about work/life balance here at OUP.
