Contract role - Digital Plant Engineer - Ohio - Life Sciences
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Plant Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities
β’ Join the dots between Business, Technology and Data architectures for the building
β’ Represent the automation function in Digital Plant discussions and forums
β’ Contribute to the Digital Strategy plan for the project
β’ Contribute to Data Architecture for the project
β’ Lead the data flow mapping activities for the project
β’ Contribute to the delivery of the site level data infrastructure (e.g. Aveva PI, Logmate etc.)
β’ Contribute to the overall automation philosophy for the program
β’ Contribute to Digital Plant User cases
β’ Communicate progress, issues, and needs to the Automation Project Manager
β’ Provide technical consulting and support as a member of the Project automation team
β’ Interface with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure the Project deliverables meet business needs
β’ Maintain compliance with training requirements
Skills And Experience
β’ BS Engineering (or equivalent experience)
β’ Extensive experience in data strategy/architecture in API/bulk manufacturing Pharmaceutical Industry
β’ Automation experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (preferably in API/drug substance manufacturing)
β’ Previous experience in the delivery of large Automation Projects in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
β’ Preferable previous experience in DeltaV Batch DCS
β’ Preferable previous experience with MES systems
β’ Preferable, previous experience with Aveva PI
β’ Exceptional teamwork abilities
β’ Strong knowledge of GMPβs, regulatory requirements and computer system validation principles
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
