Director, Business Intelligence & Performance Strategy β€” Direct Hire Location: Phoenix, AZ (HQ) β€” Hybrid (onsite Mon/Wed/Fri, remote Tues/Thurs) Compensation: up to–$142,000 base + 10% annual bonus Reports to: Strategic Planning team | Individual contributor, no direct reports The Role Sits within Strategic Planning, turning hotel-level and systemwide performance data into strategic insights for executive leadership. Acts as a trusted analytics partner on brand performance, portfolio strategy, and investment decisions. Core Responsibilities β€’ Build and manage executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting β€’ Translate complex performance data (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, revenue mix) into clear strategic narratives for execs and the Board β€’ Lead/support strategic initiatives β€” project plans, timelines, scenario modeling, what-if/test-vs-control analysis β€’ Coordinate on development incentive decisions (e.g., key money underwriting) β€’ Partner cross-functionally to standardize performance metrics, benchmarks, and definitions β€’ Leverage AI tools and industry data to surface trends and inform strategic planning Requirements β€’ Bachelor's in business, economics, statistics, data science, or related (advanced degree a plus) β€’ 8+ years in business intelligence, strategy, or performance management β€’ Experience analyzing hotel, multi-unit, or asset-based performance β€’ Strong with Power BI/Tableau; SQL/Python experience preferred β€’ Executive-facing experience required β€’ Hospitality, travel, or franchise-system background strongly preferred Travel: Occasional, for meetings/stakeholder engagement Posted By: VMS Sourcing
