Director, Business Intelligence & Performance Strategy — Direct Hire Location: Phoenix, AZ (HQ) — Hybrid (onsite Mon/Wed/Fri, remote Tues/Thurs) Compensation: up to–$142,000 base + 10% annual bonus Reports to: Strategic Planning team | Individual contributor, no direct reports The Role Sits within Strategic Planning, turning hotel-level and systemwide performance data into strategic insights for executive leadership. Acts as a trusted analytics partner on brand performance, portfolio strategy, and investment decisions. Core Responsibilities • Build and manage executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting • Translate complex performance data (RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, revenue mix) into clear strategic narratives for execs and the Board • Lead/support strategic initiatives — project plans, timelines, scenario modeling, what-if/test-vs-control analysis • Coordinate on development incentive decisions (e.g., key money underwriting) • Partner cross-functionally to standardize performance metrics, benchmarks, and definitions • Leverage AI tools and industry data to surface trends and inform strategic planning Requirements • Bachelor's in business, economics, statistics, data science, or related (advanced degree a plus) • 8+ years in business intelligence, strategy, or performance management • Experience analyzing hotel, multi-unit, or asset-based performance • Strong with Power BI/Tableau; SQL/Python experience preferred • Executive-facing experience required • Hospitality, travel, or franchise-system background strongly preferred Travel: Occasional, for meetings/stakeholder engagement Posted By: VMS Sourcing
