Position Summary
Premier Group Insurance (PGI) is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Technology to lead the strategic development and execution of technology solutions that empower our internal teams and 500+ independent agents nationwide. This role will oversee the full spectrum of PGIβs technology ecosystem; from data infrastructure and visualization to workflow optimization, compliance, and performance management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
β’ Strategic Leadership: Define and execute PGIβs technology roadmap aligned with business goals and agent needs
β’ Data Management: Oversee data extraction, storage, transformation, and visualization to drive actionable insights
β’ Systems Integration: Lead API development and cross-platform connectivity to streamline operations and enhance user experience
β’ Workflow Optimization: Collaborate across departments to identify bottlenecks and implement AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency
β’ Communication Tools: Develop and maintain interactive platforms for seamless communication between PGI staff and agents
β’ Infrastructure Oversight: manage hardware and software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
β’ Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to technology compliance standards, including licensing and data security protocols
β’ Team Leadership: Evaluate and manage technology staff performance, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
Key Qualifications
β’ Proven experience in leading enterprise-level technology initiatives
β’ Deep understanding of:
β’ Data extraction, storage, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python).
β’ APIs and software integrations
β’ AI applications in business process automation
β’ Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to understand and solve departmental workflow challenges
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Resident of Greater Denver Metro area
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in the insurance industry, particularly with:
β’ Agency Management Systems (AMS)
β’ Multi-rating tools
β’ Carrier download/data delivery
β’ CRM and commissions processing
β’ Familiarity with carrier licensing procedures and compliance requirements
β’ Bonus points if youβve worked with insurance tech like AMS, rating tools, Azure or CRM systems and understand the nuances of licensing compliance
