Serve as a senior engineering contributor delivering secure, performant, highly available solutions. Collaborate across teams, drive technical excellence, and operate e@ectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
β’ Design and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
β’ Implement enterprise solutions using .NET (C#) and related frameworks
β’ Maintain core insurance systems built on DuckCreek
β’ Develop and optimize services using SQL Server, Postgres, REST APIs, microservices
β’ Use C# and Golang where appropriate
β’ Leverage productivity tooling (VS Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
β’ Define and build reusable components and patterns (business + technical)
β’ Work with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation frameworks
β’ Monitor and debug with App Insights, Titan, and related tools
β’ Mentor junior engineers and share best practices
β’ Contribute to product direction and solution design
β’ Collaborate across the full software lifecycle (requirements to deployment)
β’ Lead and participate in design and code reviews
Qualifications
β’ Advanced .NET ecosystem experience (C#, ASP.NET, Web API, REST, SQL Server, Visual
Studio/VS Code)
β’ DuckCreek product experience
β’ Microservices and extensible API design expertise
Sensi&vity: Company-Internal
β’ Experience working with XML-based data/file systems (XPath, XSD, XML serialization in .NET
etc.).
β’ Distributed systems architecture and scaling experience
β’ Experience with Azure Cloud and DevOps pipelines
β’ Monitoring tools: App Insights, Splunk, Titan
β’ Security best practices and protocols
β’ SQL and Postgres familiarity
β’ Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
β’ Continuous delivery / modern deployment practices

β’ E@ective technical communication
