Overview
Our client is seeking a talented and agile Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to support a major implementation for a U.S. Federal customer. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical enterprise solutions that directly impact federal operations.
As part of a dynamic, cross-functional team, you’ll help enhance and expand the D365 platform—developing new features, integrating enterprise systems, and driving innovation. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with an understanding of agile delivery, client-focused outcomes, and the complexity of public sector operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Customization & Configuration:
• Design, customize, and configure F&O modules, workflows, and entities to align with customer-specific requirements. Ensure security alignment with Microsoft 365 and Dataverse frameworks.
• System Integration:
• Develop and configure seamless integrations between D365 and external enterprise systems using APIs, data entities, and middleware. Support efficient, reliable data exchange across platforms.
• Data Migration:
• Plan and execute secure, high-integrity migration of historical and transactional data using Dynamics Data Management Framework and related tools.
• Documentation & Training:
• Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides. Deliver training to client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure adoption and understanding.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Develop and execute test strategies and plans to validate functionality, performance, and data integrity. Ensure solutions meet stringent quality and compliance standards.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay current with the latest developments in the D365 ecosystem. Actively contribute to process improvements, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the team.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience developing within the Dynamics 365 platform
• Strong knowledge of the F&O module architecture, development patterns, and deployment strategies
• Must be eligible to obtain or maintain federal clearance
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate certification
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate certification
• Formal training or certification in D365 Finance & Operations
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with U.S. Federal IT standards and compliance frameworks
